Why So Many Problems ?

" It shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you-- "
( Deuteronomy 28:15-- )

What follows this verse is 53 verses of curses.   These curses involve food supply, health, confusion, sickness, rotting of food, lack of water, unrest, war, pain, insect pests, cannibalism, bad weather, etc.   These curses were addressed to ancient Israel, but they apply to all nations, even today.

I don't recall in my lifetime when an outgoing administration in Washington DC has dumped so many problems in the lap of an incoming administration.

Last week the government, in a surprise move, lowered interest rates by 1/2%. ( a major action )   The benefit lasted two days.   We are now back in a recession again.   California is in an energy crisis of frightening proportions, which now appears to be ready to spread across the nation.   Arkansas residents have been without power for over a week.   The northeast is getting another snowstorm.   Flu and other illnesses are on the rise.   Environmental radicalism including saving plants, wilderness areas, wildlife, even minute organisms, under the guise of saving " endangered species " is depriving the nation of needed energy and jobs.

And, this is just the beginning.   If you listen to the " experts " from our educational institutions, you hear that we are the " master of our fate, the captains of our souls ".   In other words, they are saying " WE DON'T NEED GOD ".   " WE CAN TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES. "   Each one has his/her own remedy for our problems.   Most of the remedies have already been tried.   They aren't working!   And, they will never work.

Nations, that have rejected God, have always gone under.   The list is almost endless,- Egypt, Ancient Israel, Persia, Greece, Rome, the Byzantine empire, Spain, France, Germany, Russia, etc.   Now we see Great Britain, Canada, and the United States on the decline.

God word says it, " The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. " ( Psalms 9:17 )

WAKE UP AMERICA!   We have been lied to,- big time!   The people we look to for answers haven't even taught us right from wrong.   The most important right,- is to recognize God and who He is, and what one must do to gain His favor.   His book tells us,- obey His commandments, or suffer the curses.   Ok, you're so smart,- then tell me who God is.   If you don't know, it is because we have let our education system, our media, and our government fail us.

I get all kinds of religious literature sent to my home.   Some I request, and some just comes via mailing lists.   This week I received a magazine from what would be considered part of the " faith movement ".   I don't always agree with them, but this magazine had an excellent article, written by a preacher that is about 80 years old.   It was entitled ," There Is a Heaven to Gain and a Hell to Shun! "   And, oh so right He is.   Friends, don't let the people, who failed to teach you the truth, deprive you of heaven.   Look around you at all the problems.   This is the beginning of God's judgement on America.   God says to America the same thing that He has always said to the nations, " Return to Me, and I will return to you. " ( Malachi 3:7 )

Even if the rest of the country continues to hold the educational establishment, entertainment TV with its sitcoms and spectator sports, and all the rest of the things that people waste their time on, in high esteem, you don't have to suffer with them.   Ask God right now to give you a new heart, and teach you right from wrong.   Then read His instruction book, the Holy Bible, and get involved in a good Bible preaching, Bible obeying church, where you can get a real education!
