America's Last Chance!

" Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. "

" And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. "

" So the LORD said, ' I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them. ' "

" But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. "

" But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. "

" For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the are, "

" and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. "
( Matthew 24:37-39 )

America has become, for all practical purposes, a democracy.   The significance of this fact is that the people can't blame the problems, that we encounter, on the elected officials.   Elections are held reasonably frequently, so that when the government isn't working properly, we can change it.   To vote, and to vote wisely, is the duty of every American citizen who is eligible to vote.   With the right to vote comes the responsibility to vote wisely.

To vote wisely means to look beyond political party, appearance, charisma, and smooth talking.   We have not been voting wisely.   If we had, few of the elected officials in either major political party would be in office.   It is sad to note that the politician, who promises the most, usually gets elected.   The fact that they usually get re-elected in spite of all the failed promises, is not their fault.   It is the fault of the people.

God is not fooled by any of this.   He knows very well that the American people are moving away from Him,- and His commandments, very rapidly.   The consequences are always the same.   A nation prospers when it follows God.   When a nation gets so wise and prosperous that it thinks that it has outgrown God, it soon falls.

As George Santayana put it, "Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it."   Precious few people in America, have read the Bible books of I & II Kings and I & II Chronicles.   If they had, America would not be making the same mistakes that the kings of Judah made, between 2500 and 3000 years ago.   When you read the history of the kingdom of Judah, it isn't long before you start shouting, " How could they be so dumb? "   Not only did they keep on making the same mistakes over and over again,- they persisted until God finally had to give them over to the Babylonian captivity.   This is not some myth.   It is historical fact, backed up by many ancient writings and archaeology.

In more recent times, first there was the Roman empire, and the Byzantine empire, and the British Empire, and Germany, and Russia, and countless others which I have omitted.   Now the United States is following in the same path.   While the nation was faithful to God, it prospered.   When it stopped being faithful to God, it fell.

When it is expedient to do so, the politicians wring their hands over the holocaust,- as well we all should.   But notice how they ignore human rights violations all over the world, especially against christians,- in the Islamic countries, China, Indonesia, Viet Nam, North Korea, and elsewhere.

If you are a christian, and are reading this message, I challenge you.   Read the Bible book of Jeremiah a few times.   You will read about the same kind of apostasy, that we are seeing today, in the United States.   America must repent, or receive the same judgment.   We will be subjected to severe famines ( shortages ), plagues, natural disasters, and perhaps even be taken captive by a foreign power.   Or, even worse, we may experience the rapture.   It is curious to note how many theologians are moving away from the truth of the second coming of Christ.   As the apostle Peter wrote, nearly 2000 years ago, there will be scoffers, but it will happen!   As I have mentioned before, the rapture will not be fun for the overwhelming majority of the people.   The evil and violence everywhere around us has desensitized us to the point that few,- even among professing christians, can discern between right and wrong.

Americans, the time has come.   Repent, or be judged accordingly.   God is going to restore His church?   It's time these false teachers are exposed for what they are.   God is not going to restore His church.   He is going to judge His church.   If God is going to restore His church before the rapture, my Bible is wrong,- and my Bible is not wrong!

I am getting a sense in my spirit that God doesn't want me to continue preaching repentance to a spiritually dead nation.   As long as there is a possibility that one more person will repent, I will continue, however, I believe that my days of preaching to the United States are nearing an end.   I am listening for the Lord's voice.   He may bring about a small remnant who will repent.   He may move us to another nation where the people will listen.   Or, He may come again to gather His people to be with Him,- fulfilling His promise to return.   God is not going to strive with America forever.   Repent now, while there is still time.
