Escaping Reality Through Noise?

So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
( Revelation 12:15 )

Also, I set a watchman over you, saying," Listen to the sound of the trumpet! "   But they said, " We will not listen. "
( Jeremiah 6:17 )

There is a saying," The only two things, that are sure in life, are death and taxes. "   That saying was probably invented to get the common people to accept the idea of supporting big governments and a heavy tax burden.   Up until recent years, taxes were primarily a burden placed on the rich.   However, these two things, and a few others, represent reality.   It's not that surprising that people would attempt to escape from it.   But, reality can't be escaped, although most of the people in the world are trying very hard, through all sorts of measures, to do just that.

In front of my desk is a window.   Hundreds, perhaps thousands of people, walk by, and drive by that window every day. I hear the car stereos, " boom, boom, boom ".   And, I see the people walking by,- with earphones covering their ears, so they can't hear what's going on around them.   And, you know what lies just beyond the street and the sidewalk?   A CEMETARY WITH THOUSANDS OF GRAVES!   Very few bother to look at that cemetary.   Even though it is a beautiful cemetery, most of the people never look at it.   They don't look to the right or to the left.   But, that's where their bodies will end up some day,- in that cemetery, or one like it.

Reality is this:   You are alive.   If you weren't, you couldn't read this message.   You are, someday, going to die, and face God's judgement.   There is a way to be ready to stand before God, however, most people would rather hide from reality.   All your hiding from reality through noise, talk talk talk, noisy music, rap, drugs, booze, etc. isn't going to change that.   Someday, you will die and stand before God.

If I were to open that window, and talk through a loud speaker, and tell these people that there is a way for them to be ready to be judged by God, few, if any, would hear me.   I would be drowned out by all the noise, and blocked out by the things covering their ears.   You say, " Don't talk to me about the God who made me, and everything around me.   Tell me that lie, about how I got here by evolution, so I can continue in my evil ways, and escape reality. "
Think about it for a few minutes and consider how absolutely stupid and foolish that idea is.   I'll say it once again," There is not one single valid piece of evidence, scientific or otherwise, for the theory of evolution. "   It is not science.   It is simply a lie out of the pit of hell.

Fools!   Wake up, and get your heads out of the sand!   Take the things out of your ears, and shut off that obnoxious noise.   The God, who created you, loves you and wants a relationship with you.   He doesn't want to judge you, and have you cast into the lake of fire, but if you continue to hide from Him, He will.   Throw away that pornography, that only leads to frustration.   Throw away all those works of fiction.   Read God's word, the Bible.   Once you understand it, it will give you peace and joy.   It will lead you to a happy and meaningful life on earth, and a glorious future in heaven.

The time is growing short.   The world of the anti-christ is already taking shape.   The people around us are like sheep without a shepherd,- not because there aren't any good shepherds, but because they would rather continue in blindness.   I have done the duty of a watchman.   You have been told.   You are now without excuse.
