Have A Blessed Resurrection Day!

" For I delivered to you first of all, that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, "

" and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, "

" and that He was seen by Cephas [ Peter ], then by the twelve. "

" After that He was seen by over FIVE HUNDRED brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep [ died ]. "
( I Corinthians 15:3-6 )

" ...if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! "

" But now, Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruuits of those who have fallen asleep [ died ]. "
( I Corinthians 15:17,20 )

While the majority of " christians " around us are celebrating a pagan fertility rite, complete with rabbits, eggs, etc., there are still a few of us who rejoice that God was manifest in the flesh, and for a short time lived among us as the Son of Man.   Indeed, He allowed Himself to be crucified for us, so that we would not receive the penalty for sin, that we deserve.   Since He was God in human flesh, it should not be hard to believe that He, as He said, had the power to give up His life,- and take it up again.

Somehow in all my religious upbringing, I missed the fact that while Jesus Christ was a human being; He was also much more than that.   I know that most of those around us have missed that also.   It is very clearly explained in Philippians chapter 2, verses 5 thru 11, and in John chapter 1, verses 1 thru 3.
Jesus Christ was God.   His eternal Spirit was in heaven with God the Father, before He humbled Himself to be born as a baby, from Mary's womb.
With God the Father, He created the universe and everything in it.

How do we know that these things are true?   Because we have witnesses,- living breathing witnesses who wrote down what they saw, and who were williing to give up their lives rather than change their testimony.   Most of the " FIVE HUNDRED " mentioned by the apostle Paul in I Corinthians 15 verse 6 were matyred for their faith.   They were so convinced of what they heard and saw, that in public, in front of what we would call judges, or the legal system, they chose to be counted as criminals, rather than change their testimony.

These testimonies are far more believable that the rantings and ravings of the foolish, so-called scientists, scholars, psychologists, and other " experts ", who have tried to convince us as to what " must have happened ".   We are rapidly reaching the point where these evil teachers have convinced the overwhelming majority of people around the world of their incredibly false ideas, not only about Jesus Christ, but about creation itself.

Once again, there is not one shred of evidence, contradicting the fact that Jesus Christ was crucified, that He died, and that on the third day ( according to the Jewish way of keeping time ) He rose from the dead, appeared alive to many, and 40 days later was taken up into heaven, just as the Bible says.

In addition, there is not one single piece of valid evidence that the earth is any older than the approximately 6000 years that the Bible says it is.   The media and textbooks are full of the millions or billions of years nonsense that is based on false science, and the things that foolish people think " must have happened ".   These things only " must have happened ", because if they didn't, the false teachers would have to admit that the whole evolution story is nothing but a modern myth,- invented so that they and their students would not be accountable to God for their sins.

I have not always believed this way, but there was something within me that would never accept half an answer.   For at least 35 years, I have been researching these things.   I have considered both sides many times.   A number of years ago, I was forced by the overwhelming weight of the evidence, to admit that the claims of the Bible are true.

Ladies and Gentlemen,- evidence is the testimony of witnesses!   It is not what pseudo scientists derive from false assumtions and invalid calculations.   It is not what these " experts " tell us must have happened.   Were these experts there?   No!   They simply want us to believe what they THINK and teach!   Do not be deceived.   Jesus will be returning soon, and when He does, these deceivers, and their multitude of followers, will be cast into hell for all eternity.   Please!   Don't be among them!

If by some minute chance, I am wrong, I have still lived a good, productive, gentle life, loving, serving, and helping others.   If they are wrong: they and their followers, will still be weeping and gnashing their teeth in hell, a trillion years from now.
